1980 Taito Polaris Cabaret Arcade Machine
A nice, fully working game. A rare machine with only a few known cabarets in existence, but I'm sure there are more out there somewhere.
Looking for a coin door; if anyone has one, it would be the same as the Taito Space Invaders one.
The entire cabinet, inside and out, has been wiped down and cleaned to the best I can do (wood, wiring, etc.). The marquee was cleaned and NOVUS polished. Cleaned, polished, and waxed the control panel. Cleaned, adjusted, and oiled the joystick pivot. Replaced buttons with nice new ones. New carriage bolts for the control panel. A new power cord has been added. The glass monitor bezel was cleaned, and Triple Thick Clear Coated to prevent any more paint flaking, since nobody makes those. The instruction card has been remade, but I will keep the original for now. A new marquee, fluorescent, and starter have been added. The monitor has been fully rebuilt with new capacitors and potentiometers.
Navigate your sub to avoid bombs, depth charges, enemy subs, and airplanes. Half of the screen has an underwater view where you can maneuver your sub.
