This is a beautifully preserved, fully functional original coin slide pinball game, set on free play for endless fun. The playfield is in excellent condition, reflecting careful maintenance and attention to detail. It operates flawlessly, just as it should. The game originally came with a special gold ball, which doubled the score on the playfield when in play.
This is a fully mechanical pinball machine that has been meticulously taken apart, thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and finely tuned to ensure optimal performance. A fantastic addition for collectors or enthusiasts seeking a high-quality, authentic pinball experience. Original optional steel balls have been replaced with glass marbles to show the colors better and help keep the wear and tear down on the wood.

"Five Star Final" was a 1931 Hollywood film based on a play by Louis Weitzenkorn. It was nominated for Best Picture. Even so, Michael Gottlieb stated at Chicago Expo 2012 that his grandfather (David Gottlieb) chose the name because he thought it would be the last game he'd ever make. No further explanation was given.
